Download Tell Her She Is Old and Fat, and Walk Away! books, The truth about men and women remains the same as it has from the fall of humanity in the garden of Eden: men and women are above all things selfish. This is the single, best explanation as to why we are ever at odds with another at any time. In Tell Her She is Old and Fat, and Walk Away!, author Bruce D. Hugg discusses the relationship between men and women, encouraging them to seek sincere fellowship in joyfully fulfilling their God-given responsibilities. He inspires both men and women to examine themselves individually in the deepest regions of their souls honestly every day. In faithfully performing this act, we discover what we already know to be true: we are solely responsible for the battles currently raging in our lives. We must defeat our personal, self-seeking lusts and desires; serve God; and live peaceably with each other.

The Other Woman, a book by Audrey Maxwell. Get The Other Woman Books in several format like PDF, EPUB, Mobi. Download The Other Woman books, Audrey Maxwell is passionate about the beauty of God’s creation of mankind. This book was God-inspired to edify, rescue, heal, and bring hope and strategy to all that need an encounter with God as well as a time of refreshing from life’s unavoidable curveballs. Priceless Jewels, founded in 2009, came from her conviction to pour into God’s Priceless Jewels and Gems all that He has poured into her. Based on Malachi 3:17, the annual Priceless Jewels Women’s Conference (Women of Worth Summit) was established. Audrey has been given insight that illuminates the inner worth and value of women who were created and fashioned by God for His good pleasure. Over many years, women from all walks of life have been enlightened, transformed, and discovered their worth. They now understand the beauty of being a virtuous woman. Proverbs 31 teaches that a woman’s worth is far above rubies, meaning we are among the rarest jewels. Adam proclaimed the original woman to be bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh because she was taken out of him. The OG (original greatness) of God is in every woman, though lying dormant in many. Audrey is anointed by God to call forth the Other Woman (original woman) that she may acknowledge, proclaim, and know her worth. The premise, “I am SHE (serene, holy, and efficient),” is the Other Woman who has lived within us from the beginning. She’s a woman of wonder and royalty. SHE is known as a woman of strength, heart, and elegance. The Other Woman has always been given a bad reputation, but all is not lost. This message is to give her hope and exposure. Enjoy the words of life and hope shared on every page of this book. Visit the author’s webpage at www.Audreyrmaxwell.com Follow her on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter at @audreyrmaxwell

The Walk Out Woman, a book by Dr. Steve Stephens,Alice Gray. Get The Walk Out Woman Books in several format like PDF, EPUB, Mobi. Download The Walk Out Woman books, Every woman longs to be appreciated, respected, and adored, but when her needs aren’t met within her marriage, she could be tempted to walk away. As little hurts and disappointments accumulate and her heart hardens, a woman’s loneliness and vulnerability take over, and she might find emotional fulfillment elsewhere, perhaps in even a casual encounter with another man. When the marriage enters this realm of real danger, the woman believes it will be less painful to walk away than try to work on it. With heart and wisdom, Dr. Steve Stephens and Alice Gray offer practical advice for how to stop this epidemic of walk-out women. They outline the warning signs of severe marital discontent and share how to reconnect with your spouse, communicate your hurt, and open your heart. If both partners are willing to work at it, any marriage can be saved. Are You Even Thinking About Walking Out? “I’m at the point where I don’t think it is worth the effort anymore.” “The only reason I’m staying is because of the children.” “Surely God doesn’t want me to be this unhappy.” Every woman longs to be appreciated, valued, and cared for. When these needs go unmet, she may be tempted to leave the husband she once loved—but walking out is seldom the path to happiness. Like trusted friends, Dr. Steve Stephens and Alice Gray offer wise and gentle advice to restore hope to your marriage. You’ll discover proven methods for how you can move toward each other rather than away, build up instead of tear down, and find love rather than lose it. Story Behind the Book Although a growing number of women are walking away from their marriages, there are no books to help them realize that this is not the path to happiness. A woman’s discontentment settles like dust on furniture, and although she tries, she fails to make her husband understand. His responses seem too little and too late. Many women mistakenly believe it is easier emotionally to leave the marriage than try to restore it. We want a woman to realize that even when her heart seems closed to her husband, there is a way to open it and become one again. Loss of love does not equal loss of marriage. Loss of hope does not mean the relationship should be abandoned.

The Secret Magdalene, a book by Ki Longfellow. Get The Secret Magdalene Books in several format like PDF, EPUB, Mobi. Download The Secret Magdalene books, Raised like sisters, Mariamne and Salome are indulged with riches, position, and learning-a rare thing for females in Jerusalem. But Mariamne has a further gift: an illness has left her with visions; she has the power of prophecy. It is her prophesying that drives the two girls to flee to Egypt, where they study philosophy, mathematics, and astronomy in the Great Library of Alexandria. After seven years they return to a Judaea where many now believe John the Baptizer is the messiah. Salome too begins to believe, but Mariamne, now called Magdalene, is drawn to his cousin, Yeshu’a, a man touched by the divine in the same way she was during her days of illness. Together they speak of sharing their direct experience of God; but Yeshu’a unexpectedly gains a reputation as a healer, and as the ill and the troubled flock to him, he and Magdalene are forced to make a terrible decision. This radical retelling of the greatest story ever told brings Mary Magdalene to life-not as a prostitute or demon-possessed-but as an educated woman who was truly the “apostle to the apostles.”

Then, suddenly, on what should have been one of the happiest days of her life, everything she worked for is taken away in a brief, tumultuous moment. In the hospital and forced to face the possibility that nothing will ever be the same again, Maggie must confront the unthinkable. First there is her fiancé, Chip, who wallows in self-pity while simultaneously expecting to be forgiven. Then, there's her sister Kit, who shows up after pulling a three-year vanishing act. Download Grandma Gatewood's Walk books, Emma Gatewood was the first woman to hike the entire Appalachian Trail alone, as well as the first person—man or woman—to walk it twice and three times and she did it all after the age of 65. This is the first and only biography of Grandma Gatewood, as the reporters called her, who became a hiking celebrity in the 1950s and '60s. She appeared on TV with Groucho Marx and Art Linkletter, and on the pages of Sports Illustrated. The public attention she brought to the little-known footpath was unprecedented. Her vocal criticism of the lousy, difficult stretches led to bolstered maintenance, and very likely saved the trail from extinction. Author Ben Montgomery was given unprecedented access to Gatewood's own diaries, trail journals, and correspondence. He also unearthed historic newspaper and magazine articles and interviewed surviving family members and hikers Gatewood met along the trail. The inspiring story of Emma Gatewood illustrates the full power of human spirit and determination.

Rosie pretends her son is still alive by talking to him, for that takes away the unbearable pain of her loss. But once she begins to face up to the fact that Finlay is not coming back, her conversations become more of a challenge than she can handle. When memories of her past are triggered by everyday life events, they take her mind back and forth in time - back to her own childhood days in 1960, when she flirted with the fairground boys, and to the day she gave birth to Finlay - ''ME LADDIE''. Rosie's Scottish accent becomes more apparent whenever her emotions are heightened and she begins to recite poetry. She goes on to reveal doubts about her own self-worth and and how she re-unites her role as mother - a role she had denied herself for seven years prior to Finlay's death. Rosie learns how to forgive herself and how to accept her loss with using practical coping strategies that sometimes but not always work for her. Many voices of different natures and walks of life appear in Rosie's, story with each one offering a part of their own belief to try and console her in her misery - except that she turns her back on any advice or support offered. Rosie is convinced that she can cope with her loss on her own and "e;needs no help from anyone, thank you"e; - until a sweet, gentle, soft-spoken voice begins to travel with her throughout her ordeal, leaving her no other choice but to listen. Eventually moving to the countryside in Angus, Rosie finds the isolation gives her life a new meaning offering her the opportunity to re-value her belief's about her own self values and decides the time has come to give her son a memorial service and invite a chosen few dance companions whom she met on a regular basis in Edinburgh to honour this day. Rosie begins to accept she will never be the same person she once had been and shall never be again, believing now her journey through grief taught her many lessons making her a stronger and better person than she imagined she could ever be.

Ina West is caught between the life she thought she was supposed to lead and the dreams she gave up long ago. Raised by loving but imperfect parents, Ina grew up a free spirit, getting a fine education and spending her twenty-something years as a photographer in Manhattan. But when family crisis and financial burdens came her way, Ina sought comfort in the arms of Jay Robinson, a hardworking businessman who occupied the safe, privileged world of the African-American upper middle class. As Jay's wife, Ina has it all: the lavish home, the SUV, the soccer games...until one day Jay walks out of their marriage, leaving Ina with no one left to trust but herself. How she manages to raise three children, take up her old career, rekindle an old flame, and celebrate her newfound independence is what Acting Out is all about. A dazzling, inspirational history.”—Helen Mort, author of No Map Could Show Them This is a book about ten women over the past three hundred years who have found walking essential to their sense of themselves, as people and as writers. Wanderers traces their footsteps, from eighteenth-century parson’s daughter Elizabeth Carter—who desired nothing more than to be taken for a vagabond in the wilds of southern England—to modern walker-writers such as Nan Shepherd and Cheryl Strayed. For each, walking was integral, whether it was rambling for miles across the Highlands, like Sarah Stoddart Hazlitt, or pacing novels into being, as Virginia Woolf did around Bloomsbury. Offering a beguiling view of the history of walking, Wanderers guides us through the different ways of seeing—of being—articulated by these ten pathfinding women.

True Crime Story, a book by Joseph Knox. Get True Crime Story Books in several format like PDF, EPUB, Mobi. Download True Crime Story books, "Cleverly blending the real and imagined worlds until the reader can't differentiate the two, Knox has created a twisty, turny thriller that cuts through the heart of the modern true crime fascination, all while keeping us enraptured by it."—BuzzFeed THE #1 INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLER! What happens to all the girls who go missing? The thrilling story of a university student's sudden disappearance, the woman who became obsessed with her case, and the crime writer who uncovered the chilling truth about what happened... In 2011, Zoe Nolan walked out of her dormitory in Manchester and was never seen or heard from again. Her case went cold. Her story was sad, certainly, but hardly sensational, crime writer Joseph Knox thought. He wouldn't have given her any more thought were it not for his friend, Evelyn Mitchell. Another writer struggling to come up with a new idea, Evelyn was wondering just what happens to all the girls who go missing. What happens to the Zoe Nolans of the world? Evelyn began investigating herself, interviewing Zoe's family and friends, and emailing Joseph with chapters of the book she was writing with her findings. Uneasy with the corkscrew twists and turns, Joseph Knox embedded himself in the case, ultimately discovering a truth more tragic and shocking than he could have possibly imagined... Just remember: Everything you read is fiction. Praise for True Crime Story: "Stunningly unique...For fans of stories with a little something extra, this book is set up like an oral history, complete with emails, newspaper clippings and photos that propel the story all the way to a shocking and satisfying conclusion." —Newsweek "Mr. Knox is a fantastic writer. His ambitious fourth novel satirises and celebrates the true-crime genre with glee. True Crime Story, by turns horrific and hilarious, is scandalously entertaining." —The Times (UK) "The gifted Joseph Knox continues his upwards trajectory with True Crime Story forging something original and innovative." —Financial Times (UK) "This is one of the most engaging cold-case novels I have read." —Literary Review (UK)

Potpourri, a book by Maurice Siegel. Get Potpourri Books in several format like PDF, EPUB, Mobi. Download Potpourri books, What is a word? I mean to that brain of ours, a sound distinctly different from tree branches in motion or those of leaves hanging down uncertain what to do next. We get simple instructions from tree noises except for getting out of the way should one of them collapse. Not much information was gathered after a life of staring up at trees in awe, not even a smile. The reason is obvious. We have to be told what a word is when struck on the ears for the first time, generally intended to identify some object that can bring danger or caring or usefulness. After that identification, its clear sailing. The word grows like the tree does, with additional information tacked on to get you to laugh or cry or shrug or wonder or turn away unconcerned. Unless the word is attached to other words, words lurking about that can be hooked up with ease. Something new will happen. The mind can become busy directing the body to cause something to come about. Something to come about comes in two sizes. The one size we know the best is an action to change what is around our body, directed by needs and wants. It is the second one coming about that has no outward change of body direction but does something special to the mind as to be carried around by that mind for a lifetime, if not longer. It is an amazing sense of ones feelings without motion to the body, rising out of words clustered together in certain ways that words can come together. This miracle of the human animal creates the feelings of a satisfaction never to be known to any other of the animals also fighting for survival. This sensation strikes deeply within oneself and is called by names we all recognize. There is poetry, prose, and plays to mention the few that bring me to a sense of emotion that otherwise would lie forever dormant in the rush through lifes practical requiring needs to keep oneself available for more gathering up of practical needs. My break with that cycle, as life permitted, is what is expressed, as best as I could, in this book as I wandered in and out of one act, plays, poems, and essays, all discoveries I had a chance to taste while the tasting was good.

And in those moments, I didn’t feel so alone anymore. Christine Wilson grew up in a small town in the south during the 1940s. Spirited and determined, Christine provided for her family and eventually owned and managed a successful café. In a life of struggle, Christine has had to walk away from failed relationships, dishonest men, and an abusive husband. In many trials, she has had to walk alone. Drawing on the author's own past experience as an evangelical minister and her present work as a secular counselor and researcher, The Ebony Exodus Project makes a direct connection between the church and the plight of black women. Through interviews with African American women who have left the church, the author reveals the shame and suffering often caused by the church—and the resulting happiness, freedom, and sense of purpose these women have felt upon walking away from it. This book calls on other black women to honestly reflect on their relationship with religion and challenges them to consider that perhaps the answers to their problems rest not inside a church, but in themselves.

Download Bond Plays: 9 books, Edward Bond Plays:9 brings together recent work by the writer of the classic stage plays Saved, Lear, The Pope's Wedding, and Early Morning. The volume comprises five new plays and a comprehensive introduction by the author exploring theories of writing and theatre. Innocence is the final play in The Paris Pentad, a dramatic epic stretching from the 1940s to the end of the twenty-first century. The conflicts at the heart of civilisation have erupted into violence, and the characters in Innocence must seek refuge in each other to escape the cruelty of war. Window, Tune, Balancing Act and The Edge are plays commissioned by The Big Brum Theatre. With themes of drug use, violence, suicide, and mother-son relations, the plays focus on problems directly aimed at modern youth culture. Ideally suited to students, performers and particularly university showcases, they are short, interesting and powerful pieces. This edition also includes some of Bond's previously unpublished Theatre Poems.

Download Bond Plays: 6 books, Plays Six includes some of the most acclaimed work of Edward Bond, one of Britain's greatest living contemporary dramatists, who is widely studied by schools and colleges. The collection includes a commentary by the author. The collection includes The War Plays and Choruses from After the Assasinations. In The War Plays (Red Black and Ignorant, The Tin Can People, Great Peace): "Bond particularises daunting themes and subjects, but examines them within the context of every day life. His platform is a trilogy of plays that deal with the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust. The first, - a quick, telling chronicle of a life destroyed before it ever got lived - puts forth Bond's notions of contemporary cultural corruption and conditioning. In play two the demoralised inheritors of a ravaged earth try to rationalise an existence predicated on death. The third play enlarges the issues by focussing on a post-apocalyptic Mother Courage for whom schizoid suffering becomes a survival technique." (Time Out). In Choruses From After The Assassinations, Bond forecasts questions fifty years into the future, in an age of escalating militarism. Edward Bond is "a great playwright - many, particularly in continental Europe, would say the greatest living English playwright" (Independent)

Download Kick out the Fairy in You and let the Woman Out books, WITH INTERACTIVE LINKS TO CONTENT, VIDEO, PODCAST AND ARTICLES Welcome to you, who managed to get here If you, just like many others, have always felt wrong, inevitably but inexorably kept comparing yourself to other Women, are tired of the self-help manuals who want to turn you into someone you are not, well then this is the right place for you. Just so you know, you are not alone. And most of all, what happens to you is normal. The message I want to convey to you through these pages is that you are just fine. I am not saying you are perfect and that you don’t need to keep bettering yourself. I am saying that the first step to become what you are destined to be is to be exactly who you already are. So why this book, you may be asking? And why has this book been written by a criminologist, who takes on many cases of abuse towards women? What do spiritual evolution, self-love, the Light, and abuse on women have in common?I can explain with a simple example. You are looking for a job. You know how much you are worth, what it is that you are looking for, and you know exactly how much money you should be paid. At your job interview, they offer you a dissatisfactory job, way below your capabilities and aspirations, and not properly compensated at all. You stand up, thank them, and walk away. What does this example mean? Well, take this instance and place it into a personal relationship. What would happen if, instead of your boss, that man was a significant other or a boyfriend? Would you settle to spend the rest of your life with a man who does not satisfy you, who does not appreciate you, who does not support you, but actually only tries to manipulate you and make you feel bad? You are not happy with your weight but you are unable to lose it;You hate your job but think you can’t aspire to become anything better; You have a dream but you think you “will never be able to fulfill it”; You wish you could move but have no idea of where to start. When a Woman doesn’t love herself, she only lives a half-life.A body she doesn’t like and doesn’t reflect who she is;A job that doesn’t satisfy her;A place where she doesn’t live the way she’d like to;Friends and relationships that don’t gratify her; An image of herself in which she feels lost. Every time you put something else or somebody else before yourself, you are at risk of losing yourself. I don’t want you to be selfish, but to love yourself, which is different. This book stems from the “Project of Women of Light”, something I have dedicated many years of my life to and that I deeply love. With the Project of Women of Light, I have helped many Women “find themselves before they get lost”! The world needs you. You got that right. The world needs you to be exactly who you are so that you can contribute to its evolution. The world needs your color to complete its color chart. What would the world be like if we were all the same? How could humanity evolve if there weren’t any different or original voices? If you don’t express your opinion, your ways, your being, you take something away from other people who could have used all of that to move on and grow up. The world needs to know what you think, what you feel, what you like and dislike, and it needs you because each one of us contribute to its development.

Frost's kids fell in love with the lady in the ice-cream parlor. When he laid eyes on their new playmate, J.D., too, felt a sudden craving for sweets—a craving only Jackie Neeley could satisfy. But then the woman started acting as nutty as a Christmas fruitcake. Jackie jumped at the slightest sound. Hid her luscious curves beneath baggy clothing. Told tales of stalking strangers, dead bodies and disappearing elves. J.D. had two options, both deadly. Walk away from this woman with her shaky grasp on reality. Or trust her—and protect her from an all-too real threat….

He works as a union official for the coal mines, but his real passion is music. As an amateur, but very talented flautist, Aaron dreams of a big career as a beloved musician. Though, with his small community and unglamorous job at the coal mine, this dream seems unattainable. Trapped in an unhappy marriage, and unsatisfied at work, Aaron becomes more and more frustrated with his life. Finally, when he feels that he cannot take it any longer, Aaron abandons his two kids and wife to run away to Italy. As he begins his journey Aaron feels hopeful for the first time in a long time. However, the journey proves to be more trouble than Aaron expected. When he falls ill, he befriends Rawdon Lilly, a cynical writer. After Rawdon nurses Aaron through his sickness, Aaron is free to continue on to Florence. Upon entering a social circle of intellectuals and artists, he experiences a higher level of conversation—discussions about politics, leadership, and expression. Feeling liberated, Aaron has an affair with an aristocratic woman, excited at all the new pleasures he is experiencing. Of course, it comes at a cost. In a city struggling in the aftermath of a war that wiped out generations, talks of revolution and change echo in the streets, and Aaron’s eyes are opened to social and political problems he had never considered. With complicated characters and beautifully written prose, Aaron’s Rod by the prolific author, D.H Lawrence, is a unique perspective on how World War I affected the individual. Looking beyond just the death toll of the war, Aaron’s Rod examines those who were left behind, the political turmoil that followed, and the emotional plight of the individual. With allusions to the bible and complicated questions on both the battle and partnership between art and intellect, Aaron’s Rod poses thought-provoking questions about all levels of Western society. This edition of Aaron’s Rod by D.H Lawrence is now presented in an easy-to-read font and features a unique and eye-catching new cover design. With these accommodations, Aaron’s Rod is restored to its original genius while being updated to modern standards.
